Obituary of Imogene West

Imogene West June 23, 1928 - November 29, 2011 Imogene West, our beloved mother and “Nanny”, was called home into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. She was one of seven children born on June 23, 1928 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Willard L. and Virginia Jordan. In death, she will be joining her son Nicholas West and her husband John Lee Eldon West who went to be with the Lord shortly after their 50th wedding anniversary. She joined him 1 day before what would have been their 65th wedding anniversary. She is survived by her children Rosemary Brann, Dora Coupland and husband Chuck, Donna McGlothlin and husband Edward, grandchildren John Westfall, Sonia Hartman, John W. Coupland, Casey Coupland, Corey Coupland, Travis Coupland, Edward McGlothlin Jr., Lony McGlothlin, Ailene Maneno and husband Chad, Brandon McGlothlin and wife Ella, Brian McGlothlin and wife Heidi, Kassandre Coen and husband Terry, and 24 great-grandchildren along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Imogene enjoyed baking, arts and crafts, crocheting, playing games and was a diehard Texas Rangers fan. She was a long-time resident of Fairfield, Texas and an active church member at Fairfield Christian Center. She will be missed by many and forgotten by none. Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 1:30pm on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home in La Porte with a graveside service to follow at 2:00pm at Grand View Cemetery in Pasadena.
