Obituary of Christopher Gerard Kreft

Mr. Christopher Gerard Kreft, 61, of Manvel Texas, was born November 14, 1959, in Houston, Texas and went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday April 10, 2021. Chris was an outdoorsman, an avid fisherman and crabber who loved to be near the water. When not on the water he could be found trying his luck at the local game room. Chris always enjoyed time spent with his friends and family at parties and get togethers. Inevitably he would be surrounded by an audience where he was able to share his many, not so short, stories. Chris will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Chris is survived by his sons Kyle Kreft and girlfriend, Nicole Thomas of Baytown, Texas, Garrett Kreft and fiancé Ashley Rushing of Richmond, Texas; brothers Steve Kreft and wife Carol of Spotsylvania, Virginia, Mark Kreft of Pearland, Texas; sisters Kathleen Vysocky and husband, Larry of Alvin, Texas, Maggie Burkett and husband, Gar of Churchill, Texas, along with numerous other family members and friends. Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Otto Kreft and Mary Catherine Hirscu Kreft; brothers, Teddy Kreft Jr., Michael Kreft, Johnny Kreft; sister Eileen Richardson; and nephew Bryan Richardson. A viewing will be held on Saturday April 17, 2021, from 9:00 – 11:00am, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas.
