Obituary of Benito Briones Pena

Benito Briones Peña, 67, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Cristino and Paula Peña. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Maria Peña; sons Jacob Peña, Isaac Peña; brothers Bernardo Peña and wife, Olivia, Benjamin Peña and wife, Tia Zulema; sister Oralia Montiel and husband, Jesse; grandchildren Zachary Peña, Noah Peña, and a host of other family and friends. Benito was a loving and devoted brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his wife and children dearly and was a wonderful provider for them. He was a painter by trade. Benito also cherished quality time with his brothers and sister. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed time spent fishing and hunting. Benito loved when the whole family could get together. He had an infectious laugh that was always entertaining. He enjoyed cooking for his family, especially barbequing or sometimes having a fish fry, if his catch had been good that day. Benito could fix just about anything. He was a carpenter, plumber, and jack-of-all trades. Benito will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for Benito will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 – 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am.
