Olivia Lopez (Momma)

Olivia Lopez went home to the Lord on the morning of April 8th in her home with her family by her side. She had fought her battle with pancreatic cancer long and hard before her passing. Olivia was born on September 16th, 1965 in Houston Texas to the late Margarita and Felix Lopez. She grew up in the city of La Porte Texas where she enjoyed the many adventures of her childhood with her siblings, Elvira Lopez, Sylvia Lopez, Susan Lopez, Adolfo Lopez, Tony Lopez, and Angel Lopez.

She is survived by her four children Terry Jr. Yarbrough, Tiffany Yarbrough, Jonathan Ortega, and Amanda Ortega as well as her 10 grandchildren who meant the world to her. Olivia was a single mother who worked her very hardest to provide the best for her family. When she was not working, she was always spending time with family, always on the go. Going to parks, the beach, bike riding, and fishing were some of her favorite activities with loved ones. Olivia touched the hearts of many with her kindness. Anyone who was blessed to know her knew how big her heart was, she would take care of everyone she knew. No matter what battles she faced, she kept her faith strong in the Christian Church. She got her strength from her close relationship with the Heavenly Father.

Please Join us this Saturday, April 15th, 2023 to celebrate her life and to lay her to rest in her home in La Porte.
