Sharon Rhea Campbell Schuler, 82, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024. She was born March 6, 1942, in Lubbock, Texas, to Rhea and LaFreda Campbell. Sharon lived a full and vibrant life defined by love, laughter, and faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Vicki Campbell Arrington. Sharon is survived by her children: Jim Pierce of Pearland, Texas; Carolyn Moran of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Teri Pierce of Lubbock, Texas. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Lauren Broom, Lee Pierce, Tyler James, Kate James, Rylie Forbes, and Michael Maxson. Sharon’s legacy continues through her seven great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Gunner, and Cadence Broom, as well as Blair, Parker, Landry, and Thomas Pierce.
Sharon worked for US Food Service for 27 years, advancing to the level of National Account Manager.
Sharon loved life and embraced it with enthusiasm. She was an avid reader and loved playing cards. She had a passion for animals.
She was a member of New Hope Church in Friendswood, Texas, where she enjoyed volunteering until her health declined. Sharon’s warmth and kindness made her a friend to many. She built meaningful connections everywhere she lived, including Crosbyton, Lubbock, and Friendswood, Texas, as well as Wichita, Kansas.
