Philo Carl Eastburn, Jr. passed away Friday, June 2, 2006 at the age of 76 years. Carl was born February 8, 1930 in Mobile, Alabama to Philo Carl and Thelma (Slater) Eastburn. He was a resident of Pearland for 37 years and retired from Reynolds Metal Co. after 20 years of service.
Carl is survived by a loving family; his wife of 55 years, Pauline Saladino Eastburn; two daughters, Janet Eastburn, of Pearland and Carla Wood and her husband, Roy of Friendswood; brother, Charles Eastburn and his wife, Deanna, of Overland Park, KS; three sisters, Frances Goodman and her husband, Bob, of Houston, Lorraine Shomaker, of Houston and Barbara Ginn and her husband, Kenneth, of Splendora; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland. A celebration of Carl’s life will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2006, in the Chapel of Clayton Funeral Home with Kenneth Ginn officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland.
