Obituary of Lenora Medina

Lenora Medina, 79, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Maria Gutirrez; and husband, John Medina. Lenora is survived by her sons, Vincent Medina and wife, Lupe, John Medina, Joe Medina, and Rene Benavidez; daughters, Barbara Fernandez and husband, Pedro, Martha Delarosa and husband, Vincent; brothers, Joe Gutirrez and wife, Lupita, Tommy Gutirrez and wife, Louise; twenty-three grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Lenora was devoted to her family and loved being around everyone, especially the grandchildren. She enjoyed good health for most of her life and stayed active caring for her children and cooking for all of her family. Lenora truly had a green thumb and grew the most beautiful roses in her garden. She was very strong in her faith and enjoyed watching the Christian TV channels. Her faith and her family were very important to her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation and funeral service for Lenora will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm and the funeral service will follow beginning at 12:00 pm with Deacon Ronald Bass officiating.
