Obituary of Dale Edward Hyde

Dale Edward Hyde, 78, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Hyde; and daughter, Nancy King. Dale is survived by his mother, Katherine Murphy and her husband, Jack; his loving wife of 17 years, Judy Hyde; sons, Adam Hyde and wife, Lisa, Jason Hyde, Mark King and wife, Elaine; sister, Sharron Alaniz and husband, Nick; fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Dale loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed camping, going to the beach and spending time in the State Parks. He and Judy had just begun to experience travel as they ventured around Texas in their RV. Dale was a dedicated and valued employee at Invocon where he worked for 11 years as an Electronic Technician. Dale was entrusted with many high profile and classified projects as a result of his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic. Dale was great with his hands and spent many hours building short wave radios, remote control planes and cars. In his early years, he enjoyed fixing up and racing cars. Dale loved his dogs and birds and was especially fond of his macaw, “Charlie”. Although known as a quiet man that enjoyed his solitude, Dale loved spending time with his family watching Nascar and football on TV. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A visitation and funeral service will be held for Dale on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: Pearland Building, 3311Southfork Drive, Pearland, Texas 77584. Interment will follow at Alvin Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
