Obituary of Fred Louis Huber

Fred Louis Huber Jr., age 65, passed away in Sarasota, Florida on December 28, 2008. He is preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Clare; his parents, Fred Louis Huber Sr. & Clare (Wendell) Huber. He is survived by his son, Danny Huber; daughter, Cindy Huber; sisters, Claudia Zaher and Merilyn Crouse & her husband, Tom; lifelong friends, Joe & Donna Bedits, and Charles & Charlotte Healy; and a host of other family members & friends. Fred was born on April 27, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. He lived in the Baytown area for many years and for the past eight, resided in Sarasota, Florida. Fred was a motorcycle enthusiast and his latest project was building a custom Harley from the frame up. He also loved building cars and created many model T hotrods and a ’57 Chevy. Fred and Clare enjoyed twenty three happily married years together. Family was very important to him and he always enjoyed life to the fullest. Fred often frequented the casinos where he played the slot machines and black jack. He was a person who never met a stranger and developed many life long friendships. A graveside service will be held for Fred on Monday, January 5, 2009, 4:00 pm, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
