Obituary of Sylvia Saenz Brito

Sylvia Saenz Brito, 69, passed away on November 3, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, Armando and Concepcion Saenz; son, Ruben Martinez; and daughter, Lisa Herrera. Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Cruz Juanita Aguirre and husband, Johnny, Guadalupe Sedillo and husband, George, Felipa Romas, and Concepcion Herrera; eighteen brothers and sisters; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Sylvia was a florist for more than 30 years and enjoyed creating beautiful creations out of flowers. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed finding new recipes of her favorite avocados. She found great joy in doing craft projects. Sylvia was truly the matriarch of the family and took great pride in all of their accomplishments. She will forever be remembered for her love of shoe shopping and dancing. Sylvia had a wonderful sense of humor and always loved meeting new people. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation and funeral service for Sylvia will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and the Rosary and Vigil Service will follow at 7:00 pm.
