Obituary of Johanna Schweers
Please share a memory of Johanna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Johanna Schweers, 51, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014. She is preceded in death by her father, William Fant. Johanna is survived by her mother, Billie Blake Fant; her loving husband of 21 years, John Schweers; son, Stewart Schweers; daughter, Olivia Schweers; brother, Mark Fant; sister, Debbie Fant and her husband, Cary Lung; and a host of other family and friends.
Johanna was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. Her family and her children were her life, and she was considered by her family as the ultimate nurturer as she always put others’ needs before her own. Johanna was strong in her faith and wanted to see the good in the world. She was widely known for her dry sense of humor—being the “Queen of Puns”—and her love of jokes. Johanna was an extremely creative and wonderful cook who delighted in being in the kitchen. She had an extraordinarily compassionate and empathetic nature. Johanna will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
