Obituary of James Warner Farver

James Warner Farver, 57, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. He is preceded in death by his mother and step father, Elsie and Joseph Warner. James is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Cindy Warner; sons, Jason Crison and his wife, Amanda, James Farver Jr., Joey Farver, Jake Warner, and Nathan Nolley; daughters, Shannon Taylor and her husband, Joe, Kevyn Hodges and her husband, Adrian; brother, Clarence Farver; sister, Rema Bastianelli; brother-in-law, Bob Bastianelli; grandchildren, Destiny, Sigourney, Dante, General, Arieahanna, Baby James, Alexandra, and Edith; “the boys”, JJ Olson, Dan Schmitt, Mark Swan, and Mike Dobson, who was like a brother; niece Shelly and her children, Tyler, Trent and Travis; nephew, Darwin; his beloved pig, “Willy”; and a host of other family and friends.
James proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an excellent provider for his family and had a successful career as a Master of Technology for Harley Davidson. Following his retirement, he continued to work on bikes in his garage at home. James will forever be remembered as a “Big Teddy Bear” that had a free spirit, was always the life of the party, loved to have fun and was known for his giving nature. He was affectionately known as “Grandpa” to all of his grandkids and he cherished every opportunity he had to spend times with them. James will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A memorial service for James will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 10:30 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. Following the memorial service there will be a graveside service with military honors at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
