Obituary of Sherre Chapman

Sherre Chapman, age 61 of Pearland, lost her valiant battle with cancer on September 23, 2009. She is survived by her son David Chapman & his wife Olivia; daughter Andrea Chapman; brother James Harbour; grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, & Kyle Chapman; and a host of many other family & friends. Sherre was born on September 3, 1947 in Huntington, West Virginia. She lived there until relocating to the Houston area in 1980. Sherre loved her family and throughout the years, worked hard to be a good provider for them. She worked as a Marketing Director for Tribble, Ross & Wagner since 2008. Spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially during the holidays, were joyful times for everyone. She was an excellent cook and loved having family and friends over to enjoy her culinary creations. The grandchildren affectionately called her “Nanna”. In her spare time, Sherre enjoyed shopping, going to the beach, and visiting South Padre Island. Sherre will always be remembered for putting her family first and doing for others. Visitation for Sherre will be on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 12:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home with a Memorial Service beginning at 1:00 pm.
