Obituary of Loreto Tuzon Gumtang

Loreto Tuzon Gumtang, 84, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Onesimo and Martha Gumtang; brother, Andronico Gumtang; sister, Nilda Astudillo. Loreto is survived by his wife, Maria Gumtang; sons, Onesimo Gumtang and wife, Concepcion, Loreto “Jun” Gumtang Jr. and wife, Rhodora; Owen Gumtang and wife, Rochelle; daughters, Ellen Gumtang, Rizza Hynes and husband, Steve, Reina El Hafi and husband, Mahmoud, Lorence Gumtang and husband, Julio; sisters, Fe Directo, Estrella Lagunte and Erlinda Dionisio; grandchildren, Julius, Jolly Ann, Paul Angelo, Kristine Lei, John Paul, Charm Mae and Rain Gumtang, Inez Gumtang-Sering, Chad, Erin, and Thea Hynes, Rani and Yasmine El Hafi, Gether, Gabbie and J.B. Cosino; and a host of other family and friends. A visitation and rosary will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with the rosary recited at 6:00 pm. The funeral mass will take place Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father James Courville officiating.
