Obituary of Teresa Salais

Teresa (Terry) Salais passed away on October 1, 2009 surrounded by her family. Teresa was born on August 19, 1945 to Guillermo and Lucy Vela. She was a member of the West Fresno English Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses, and firmly believed that she will see her family and friends again in Jehovah’s promised earthly paradise. Terry was a cosmetologist and owner of “Hair Kuts Unlimited,” a beauty shop in Fresno, Texas. She had many devoted clients who will miss her dearly. Terry is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Willie and Lazaro Vela. She is survived by her husband, Henry Joe Salais, son, Dion, two sisters, Rosario Ramirez and Juanita Garcia, aunt, Guadalupe Lopez-Monreal, uncles, Jimmie and Roque Ortega and Rafael Lopez-Monreal. She also had nieces and nephews that she loved as if they were hers, Linda and Brenda Buentello, Celia, Aimee, Ashley, and Richard Rivas, Elena Campos, Lazaro Ramirez, Jr., Laura Ramirez-Bobby, Tamara Greenwood, Tina Villagomez, Anna Buller, Tony Vela, and many cousins. The family invites you to a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 153 Sycamore St., Fresno, TX 77545.
