Bettye was one of Alvin High Schools outstanding students. Beautiful in appearance and in spirit, she and her smile made her a favorite to anyone that knew her. A good student, as in National Honor Society, Bettye’s personality earned her Junior Class Favorite, Senior Class Most Beautiful, Queens Court, and other academic and school social events. Husband Tommy and I were Classmates from Mrs. Van Tassels through graduation. Two fun school mates. Family and community oriented great people, Bettye will alway to some of us missed as “Bettye and Tommy”
