Obituary of James Michael Wink

James Michael Wink, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Wink. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Rita Wink; brother, Robert Louis Wink; niece and nephews, John Wink and wife, Carolyn, Joel Wink and wife, Laura, Robin Barryer and husband, Benji; his best friend, Mark Wellman, and a host of other family and friends. Mike loved living life to the fullest. He especially enjoyed getting dressed up and going out on the town with Rita. He loved being a cowboy. Mike was always known for his love of cooking and grilling for all of his friends. He enjoyed planting and growing herbs and flowers in his tropical garden. Mike loved the outdoors and loved golfing, boating, traveling with his family, socializing with his friends and hanging out with the Megan Mob. He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation for Mike will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The memorial service will take place Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating.
