Obituary of Maxine Audrey Johnson

Maxine Audrey Johnson, a longtime resident of Pearland, passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Maxine was born March 16, 1922 in Fredonia, Kansas to the late Richard L. and Jessie Wise Branson. The matriarch of Johnson’s Pools, Maxine brought joy to hundreds of children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Williams and husband, Teddie Robert Johnson. Maxine is survived by a loving family; her daughter, Cindy L. Mills and her husband, Gerry; two grandsons, Jeremy Mills and his wife, Andrea and Jonathan Mills; great-grandson, Logan Mills; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
