Obituary of Victor Marcus Guerrero

Victor Marcus “Mark” Guerrero, a resident of Pearland, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at the age of 28 years. Victor was born April 18, 1979 in Houston to Grace Ponce and Victor Guerrero. He graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School in 1998, where he excelled as a member of the Dobie High School Choir. Mark is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jose Perez Ponce and his paternal grandmother, Joaquina Guerrero. He is survived by a loving family; his mother, Grace Ponce; father, Victor Guerrero; sister, F. Amanda Guerrero; maternal grandmother, Felisitas V. Ponce; paternal grandfather, Ascencion J. Guerrero; niece, Julia K. Guerrero; nephews, Noah G. Baxter and Seth P. Guerrero; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives, as well as a host of faithful friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday, August 2, 2007, in the chapel of Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway in Pearland, where a vigil will be offered at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Victor’s Life will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 3, 2007, in the chapel of Clayton Funeral Home with Rev. Roberto Reyna officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Pearland.
