Mike, Marcie, Faith & Dona:
I am sorry for your loss. Mr. Ellis was a original man and so sweet. I will never forget him and how great it was to my family. He had a lot of patience with me in softball. I never will forget when we all went to Mexico and we were fishing in the freezing cold on some lake. It was an experience. Your Dad was the best of the best and could build and repair anything. He reminded of my father. I hope you all find peace soon. Remember all the good and fun times with him. God bless Don and the entire Ellis family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Don's service was very special and was exactly what he would have wanted. He was a special member of the community who made everyone feel like family. I pray daily for Sybil and his family and know that faith, family and friends will bring them peace and comfort in the coming days. Bless you Don. You will be missed by many who were lucky to have met you.

Uncle Son as he is lovingly known as. What a wonderful, intelligent, talented man. I have a life time of memories that I will cherish forever. I spent many summers and many nights in his care and loved each and every one. The world is truly a better place to live because of him. He spread his infectious zest for life and always loved to share his stories. I will never forget the times we spent together. I love you Uncle Son!! RIP.!!

All of my memories of my Uncle Don (Son) are happy. In my childhood through all the years he was always kind, welcoming, generous, and quick with a laugh and a great story. The family and the world lost a very good man. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sybil and the family.
