Janet, I do not know if you remember me or not, but we had the opportunity to meet a couple of times at Coca-Cola events. I just ran across John's name in my phone list and google him to see if I could connect and say hi. Then I ran across his obituary. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. I truly enjoyed working with John and I probably had more private conversations with him than anyone at work. He had such a great sense of humor and always helped me laugh and lighten up when I was having a bad day. I left Coke in 2013 and truly regret not keeping up with him. You must know that almost all of our conversations centered around his family and it was obvious that you guys were the center of his world and thoughts always. John was a great man and I am proud to have been his friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys as you remember him and celebrate his life.

I had the pleasure of working with John at Coca Cola, he was extremely nice and helpful. John had a funny sense of humor that would catch you off guard at first, but then you realize he was joking! I am sad to hear of his passing but know he will be comforted in heaven. Please let the happy memories of John keep you warm and know that he is smiling down on you. He is no longer suffering. Keeping you in my prayers.

John,
I will miss our conversations and the camaraderie that we shared. You always cared about others before yourself. You never slowed down and put your life in God's hands as you would say "what can I do". You were one the most unselfish people I knew and whenever anyone needed help you provided it. 32 years of service to Coca-Cola and we were blessed by the impact you had.

My dear sweet brother John will missed greatly. My heart is so sad, but yet relieved that he no longer has to be in pain and suffering. He is free. The heavens now have another angel. I will miss him always calling me "kiddo " and him picking on me just so he can get a good laugh. He had and always will have a very special place in my heart. I love you very much John. Your little sis.
May God comfort our souls and help them heal.

Janet, David, and Family,
Simple words cannot express my heartfelt sadness over the loss of John. He was an esteemed colleague and an exemplary associate. I am so honored to have been his mentor for the tenure that I was. I had not spoken with John since my retirement from the Coca-Cola business back in 2007, but I was kept apprised of his courageous battle with cancer. Please know that my life is enriched because of my association with John.
Godspeed,
L. David Hannegan

John was a sweet friend of over 20 yrs who made me laugh too. He will surely be missed but he lives on in eternity by his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We will meet again my friend and maybe soon, as the Lord's return draws near! Thanks for your kindness and friendship through the years, but especially for loving my precious friend Janet. May the Lord reward you greatly!

John was one of the smartest men that I have ever known, and brought a tremendous amount of passion and creativity to his work. He made a real difference for the Coca-Cola team.
I will miss my friend John a lot more though. My lasting memory will be how he lit up when he talked about his family. He was so proud of David, and spoke so lovingly of Janet. He always knew what was most important to him, and always kept that first in his priorities.
May God bless the Coppage family.
