I worked for David and Libby from 1981 to 1985 at the funeral home in Duncanville.
They blessed me in so many ways when I was coming out of a very tough time in my life.
Libby was always so gracious to me and of course exhibited a great sense of humor.
I have always considered them to be friends even though I haven't seen Libby in quite a while. Blessings upon you David and to the entire family at this moment of loss.

Libby - just looking at your picture brings back so many memories of me and Debbie being in trouble lol or giving you trouble! Thank you for half raising me and always loving us and welcoming us two trouble makers back into your loving arms even after we'd made you so angry! I love the spitfire personality that you have and learned so much from you through the years. I love you and am glad that you are now at peace and not suffering anymore.

David, John and Debbie,
I'm so sorry for your loss. But each of you have helped me with my path in the funeral business and I know how hard it is to lose someone so close and was so involved in the family business. She passed knowing that her family was with her until the end. The whole Clayton family will be in our prayers. Cecil and Nona Dalton

I am so sorry to hear about Libby's passing. I know she will be missed by so many people. I have her to thank for helping me get my foot in the door at David Clayton & Sons Funeral Home in Duncanville. Little did I know that I would end up getting my funeral director and embalming license and career that I love.
