Obituary of Elaine Mary Kaufman

Elaine Mary Kaufman, 73, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Irene Richardson and her loving husband, Gerald Kaufman.  Elaine is survived by her son, William “Bret” Wieman; daughter, Jennifer McCrary; sister Carolyn Gray and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Casey McCrary, Camron Wieman and Cassidy McCrary; and a host of many other family and dear friends.

Elaine enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends.  She was affectionately known as “Granny” to all her grandkids including her adopted grandchild, Cierra Cameron.  Elaine always put the needs of others before her own.  She was passionate in caring for neighbors and all those around her, taking great pride making them feel special.  Elaine especially enjoyed animals and was known as the “dog whisper” to them all.  She loved unconditionally and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service for Elaine will be held Monday, September 11, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Keith Anderson officiating.
