Clyde was a serene and steady leader in our high school class of 1964. The world is a better place for his having lived. Clyde's gentle legacy will live on through the lives of his family. My heart goes out to them in their loss.

Uncle Clyde I will unapologetically admit was my favorite uncle. Even though he was not my uncle by blood, he called me regularly, he texted regularly and visited often. His genuine care for me and my family was so apparent in every communication. I will miss our morning chats in the kitchen from his visits. My love to you all. My prayers for you all. Uncle Clyde was the glue to the family. Let’s make him happy and keep reunions going! ❤️ Please lean on us in the days, weeks, months and years to come. XO

Kathy and Family,
What a legacy Clyde has left, as a man, brother, uncle, husband, father, and grandfather. Growing up he was just the big brother of my friends, his sisters, but as I got to know him as an adult I was continually impressed by his love of children and his genuine interest in others. He will truly be missed. Janet & Rick Hudson

I was saddened today to learn of Clyde's passing. We were friends at Cy-Fair High School and both of us grew up in Jersey Village. Clyde was always a fine person. Involved in school councils he was always concerned with the students and improving their lot, and also worked on better understanding between the faculty and students. I send my deepest sympathy to his family at this time of bereavement.
