Obituary of Lionidis Smith

Lionidis Smith, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Carlota Vargas and husband, Guillermo Smith.  Lionidis leaves behind a lasting and far reaching legacy of family that includes, sons, Eliud Smith-Vargas, Guillermo E. Smith-Vargas, Agustin Smith-Vargas, Jesus J. Smith-Vargas; daughters, Edith Smith-Vargas, Blanca Smith-Vargas, Carmen Smith-Vargas, Mirna Smith-Vargas, Veronica Smith-Vargas; two brothers, thirty-two grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Lionidis will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 6502 County Road 48, Manvel, Texas 77578.  Interment will take place at Dolores Cemetery in Monterrey, Mexico.
