Obituary of Catalina Aguilar

Catalina Aguilar, 59, of Houston, Texas passed away on October 27, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Juana Aguilar and Agustin Anuario. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Felix Castro, son Emir Castro and wife Maria, daughters; Marival Castro, Dolores Castro, Sandra Castro and Yanet Castro, grandchildren; Guadalupe, Lizbeth, Emanuel, Lovely, Angela, Armando, Mario, Gonzalo, and another grandson on the way, brother Silvino Anuario, sister Teresa Anuario and a host of other family and dear friends.

Catalina had a very friendly and kind soul. She was careful, hardworking, a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking, especially for her grandchildren. Rice and mole was her special dish that she would make for everyone. Catalina always had time for her loved ones even during her battle with cancer she found a way to make each grandchild feel loved. She was extremely brave and showed great strength in everything she did. She was affectionately known to her family as “Grandma Cata”. Her family always looked to her for love and support in times of need. Catalina was extremely dedicated and would do anything for her family. She adored them very much and she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Services for Cataline will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The visitation will take place Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and the funeral services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10:00 am with Father Richard Hinkley officiating.  Following the services, interment will take place at Houston Memorial Gardens Pearland, Texas.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.claytonfuneralhomes.com.
