Obituary of Victoria M Dayries
On August 19, 1951 one of God’s most beautiful angels, Victoria M Dayries was born to the late Victor Joseph and Alexcener Reaux in New Orleans, LA.
She married her soulmate, the late Larry Paul Dayries, Sr. on July 19, 1968. They were blessed with 6 children: Victoria, Larry Jr, Mary, Lee, Regina and Tanika. She was a devoted military spouse who supported her husband honorably through his 20 year US Air Force career. She enjoyed traveling the world with her family, making new friends along the way and learning different cultures. As a result of her travels, it has been said that she never met a stranger.
She was known for her warm and giving heart; she also took pleasure in giving unsolicited advice, helping family and friends and spending time with her 4 legged fur grandson Kobi. But most would agree that one of her favorite past times was gossiping with her youngest sister Denise and spoiling her favorite nephew Omarion.
She was surrounded by great love and family when she peacefully entered into the Kingdom of Heaven to be with the Lord on Saturday November 4, 2017.
Vickie lived 66 full years and is now peacefully back in the arms of her beloved parents, Victor and Alexcener, her loving husband Larry, brothers Willie and Donald Lee Reaux, sisters Diane Stewart and Phyllis Reaux and all the friends and family who passed before her.
Her love and memories will forever remain in the hearts of her 6 children, 10 grandchildren: Teddy, Lee, Lexus, Marc, Larry, Kiaya, Jaleela, Jamara, Jalynn, Jakiya, son in law Marlon, 8 siblings; Jerome Reaux, Elijah Joseph, Patricia Reux, Louise Reaux, Elouise Reaux, Regina Reaux, Helen Stevenson, Denise Reaux and a host of relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Victoria will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. Online condolences may be sent to the Dayries family at www.claytonfuneralhomes.com.
