Viola “Vi” Perez Salinas, 86, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017.  She is preceded in death by her parents, H.G. and Eloisa Perez; son, Larry Salinas; brother, Rudy Perez; and great grandchild, Jaxon Jordan.  Vi is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Felipe Salinas; son, Phillip Salinas and wife, Laura; daughter, Patricia Clemons and husband, Brian; sisters, Trine Moreno, Dolores Longoria; grandchildren, Brandi Means, Justin Clemons, Christina Salinas, Alicia White; great grandchildren, Raegan Means, Brayden Means, and Brady White; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Vi was a huge-hearted, deep-loving, dependable, and strong-willed woman who was devoted to all those whom were in contact with her.  She was the rock and foundation that shaped and held her family together.  As a wife she modeled loyalty, support, and dedication to 65 years of marriage.  Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the apple of her eye.  Vi was a passionate and excellent cook!  She had a very green thumb, loved animals, was crafty, and loved to vacation with her family, especially camping.  She was a bilingual secretary for Pasadena ISD.  Vi will be greatly missed by all those who survived her, but her legacy will live on through all the lives she touched.

A Memorial Service for Vi will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Deacon Dale Almenario officiating.
