Obituary of Johnnie Laverne Weyrich
Johnnie Laverne Weyrich, 87, of Pearland, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stella and Emmett Davis; husband of 58 years, Robert Weyrich; second husband William Bushlow; brothers, Jesse Lee Davis and Donald Davis. Left to cherish Johnnie’s memory is her son, Bobby Weyrich and wife, Magdalena; daughters, Kathryn Weyrich, Carolyn Weyrich and spouse, Debbie, and Deanna Maxwell; brother, Robert Davis; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a host of other family and friends.
Johnnie was a Houstonian who moved to Pearland in 1966. She cherished cooking for her family and all family get togethers. She traveled all over Texas, Colorado and especially enjoyed their trip to Branson. Johnnie was a world traveler, traveling to England, Germany, Canada and Mexico. She liked going camping on Bastrop Bayou and fishing. Johnnie loved all her grandchildren very much and was affectionately known as Grandma to everyone. She was completely selfless, always thinking of others and doing for everyone else. Johnnie enjoyed music, was old fashioned, and stayed strong in her faith throughout her life. She was a life time member of the Pearland Eastern Star. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation and funeral service will be held for Johnnie at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581, on Friday, February 9, 2018. The visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
