My dear, dear friend! I will always have a special place for you in my heart. We shared so many life experiences, happy & sad, and managed to always hold each other up. I know you're in a beautiful place and look forward to a nice long talk, one of these days! I love you, Billye!! Now in the arms of God.

Phyllis and Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Billye. She was a sweet, beautiful and very professional woman. She brought high standards of professionalism to the Cabot Chamber of Commerce and I’m grateful for her and Tom’s contributions to our community. I miss passing by their beautiful home and seeing their amazing manicured lawn and have missed the beautiful display of all blue Christmas lights. I loved hearing her tell the story of Jerry Cole prank calling her about putting in a business in Cabot, now that one was hilarious. However, most of all I miss their always kind words and contagious smiles. You and your family will be in our prayers for peace and comfort.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
It broke our hearts to see you go,
God only takes the best.
They say that memories are golden,
Well maybe that is true,
But we never wanted memories,
We only wanted you.
Your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true,
You did your best for all of us,
We will always remember you.
We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed and sore,
We did our duty to the end,
‘Til we could do no more.
In tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.
Our lips cannot speak how we loved you,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say,
But God only knows how we miss you,
In our home that is lonely today.
We love you, Meme!

I got to know Ms. Billye during the time she served as Cabot Chamber Director. I worked for the City of Cabot at the time with an office across the hall from hers. We immediately became friends, who couldn’t love Ms. Billye. She was such a beautiful woman both inside and out. I am so sorry for your loss, may your memories help you through this difficult time. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you today and all the days to come.

Billye Everett raised the “classy meter” by about a thousand percent when she returned to AR and moved to Cabot. Pat, my husband, was a Chamber of Commerce officer when Billye applied as director. He later served as president while she was in charge. Pat always raved about Billye’s direction of the chamber and the fact that she brought such a professional aura to the organization. During the time while she was in charge, the chamber advanced in membership and activities, and it’s image certainly improved to a quality organization. As the wife of a chamber member, I attended many events with my husband. Billye brought an unmatched professional flair to the events. Not to be overlooked, just like her mother and her sister, she was not only beautiful on the inside, but she was beautiful head to toe! She was always dressed to the nines!
We also lived in the same neighborhood, and everyone who traveled her street enjoyed her year-round gorgeous yard, flowers, and BLUE lights at Christmas.
Billye was a special lady who enriched her neighborhood as well as the lives of those who knew her personally and those who worked with her professionally! She is already missed!
