Obituary of Lewis Holland

Lewis Edward Holland Jr., age 43 of Pearland, died tragically on December 7, 2009. He is survived by his parents, Lewis & Mary (Yaun) Holland; wife, Vivian Holland; son, Lewis Holland III; daughters, Lauren & Elaina Holland; brother, Scott Brady & his wife Fatima; and sister, Teresa Mello & her husband Jerry. Lewis was born on January 30, 1966 in Houston, Texas and spent his entire life here. He was an excellent provider for his family working for nineteen years as the Operations Manager at Almeda Mall in Houston. Lewis was a practical joker, who enjoyed having fun and making people laugh. In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing or spending time with his family. Although plain spoken, he always spoke the truth. Lewis and Vivian were married for 16 years. As a father, he was always there for his children, providing a firm hand but loving them unconditionally. Lewis’s kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered and he will be greatly missed. Visitation for Lewis will be on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 10:30 am with a Memorial Service following at 12:00 noon in the Clayton Chapel. Donations may be made in Lewis’s honor to Chase Bank in care of Vivian Holland.
