Obituary of David Wayne Wilson
David Wayne Wilson, 72, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilma Faye Eaves, David Ezekiel Wilson, his brother Walter, and his beloved companion Leroy. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Ivy Wilson; son, Adam Duke Wilson and wife, Stephanie; daughters, Tracy Marie Turner, Amber Dawn Johnson and husband, Chandler; brother, Jimmy Wilson and wife, Lynette; sister, Elaine Wilson; grandchildren, Taylor Turner, Morgan Turner, Cameron Turner, Ayden Johnson, Camden Johnson, Devyn Wilson, soon to be Asher Wilson; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Wayne was a master electrician. He was the owner of WW Service Company, Pearland Electric, and Powerline Electric. He wired many buildings in Pearland from 1980-2010. Wayne wired the first three story building and the first four story building in Pearland. He wired most of the Parkview subdivision and almost all of the Whataburger’s in the greater Houston area. Wayne enjoyed hunting, motorcycles and old cars. He loved scratch-off tickets, Marlboro soft packs, Wild Turkey 101 and Coca-Cola. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service for Wayne will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581, on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., with Teryn Muench officiating.
