Obituary of Donald John Hutchinson Jr

Donald John Hutchinson Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Bettie Hutchinson Sr.; and brother, Frank Hutchinson.  Left to cherish his memory are his son, Matthew Philip Hutchinson; daughter, Rachel Nichole Hutchinson; brother, Richard Hutchinson; sisters, Ann Marie Adams, Mary Angel Hutchinson and Jeanette Driedger; and a host of other family and friends.

Donald was a true Texan that loved the trail rides during the rodeo, supporting the local Texans and Astros sports team and enjoying BBQ!  According to the family Donald made some of the best brisket around and enjoyed sharing it with family and friends.  He was an avid outdoorsman and could be found hunting with his son and fishing in west Bay with his daughter.  Those were truly the happiest times of his life.  Donald loved his children very much and cherished every opportunity he had to spend time with them.  He was strong in his faith and supporter of his Catholic church.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing dominoes and watching old westerns with John Wayne.  Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service for Donald will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 3:00 pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 110 E. South Street, Alvin, Texas 77511.
