Obituary of Horacio Garcia

Horacio Garcia, 66, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Santos Garcia.  Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Micaela Garcia; sons, Carlos Guerrero and wife, Iris, Horacio Garcia Jr, Jose Garcia and wife, Kristina, Juan Garcia and wife, Martha; daughters, Rocio Villares and husband, Gonzalo; brother, Jose Luis Garcia and wife, Martha; sister, Irma Gonzalez and husband, Gregorio; grandchildren, Angelina, Carlos, Emily, Claris, Natalia, Enrique, Christian, Caitlyn, Isabella, Montserrat, Joel, Lucas; and a host of other family and friends.

Horacio was an excellent provider for his family and loved his children and grandchildren dearly.  He enjoyed spending time his family at family gatherings and holidays.  Horacio was affectionately known as Grandpa and Buelo.  He was a man of very few words but was straight forward.  Horacio was a member of the neighborhood watch program and always looking out others in need.  He loved his wife, Micaela and dedicated his life to her and their family.  Horacio will forever be remembered for his love of singing, his sense of humor and for playing with all of the grandkids.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Horacio will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The Funeral Mass will take place Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church at 5430 W. Ridgecreek Drive, Houston, Texas 77053 with Father Oscar Castro officiating.  Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas.
