Obituary of Nelly Dora Tausch

Nelly Dora Tausch, 89 passed away Monday, July 2, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Augustina Daher; her loving husband of 45 years, Morris Tausch; son, Fred Tausch; four brothers, one sister; and grandson, Frank Tausch Jr.  Nelly is survived by her son, Frank Tausch and wife, Annette; one sister; grandchild, Amber Michelle Robinson and husband, Andrew; great grandchildren, Dyllan, Alexa, Ashton, Gavin, Kelly, and Frederick; great-great grandchild, Brayleigh and a host of other family and dear friends.

Nelly was born in Chile and became a United States citizen in 1962.   She loved antiques and owned her own antique shop for more than 30 years.  Nelly enjoyed gardening, flowers and was a member of the Houston Rose Society for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Nelly will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nelly’s honor to Houston Hospice at www.houstonhospice.org.

Services for Nelly will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm with the service following at 1:00 pm with Father Jim Courville officiating.  Interment will take place at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
