Gregory Leon King, 48, passed away on October 30, 2007. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Nathalee, his son, Gregory L. King, Jr., and daughter Lenatha Joy King; his father Leon Erving King and mother Billie Schion King; sisters Joyce Elaine and her husband Neil Whitehead, and Mary Helen and her husband Thomas Zirlott; and grandchildren Michael Huddleson and Olivia Grace Palm.
Gregory was born in Freeport, Texas but resided in Pearland for the last twenty years. He was a truck driver with Logistics Express. Shopping or playing cards with Lenatha or camping in the family r.v. with his grandchildren were some of his greatest joys. He also enjoyed relaxing and hanging out with his best friend and buddy, his son, Greg Jr. Gregory loved to sing and shared his talent at family gatherings as well as family funerals.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Clayton Funeral and Cemetery Services beginning at 10:00 AM, with a chapel service commemorating Gregory’s life at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Davis officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas, 281-449-6511.
