He was a 1974 graduate of Texas A&M University where he was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets. Jim worked in the insurance industry as an adjuster for more than 35 years. He often traveled throughout his career and his family always looked forward to him bringing home a new t-shirt or magnet that he picked up along the way.
Jim was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his family, and was affectionately known by his grandkids as “Grandpa Jim”. Jim loved vintage cars and was an avid Astros and Texas Aggies fan. In both his home and business offices, he proudly displayed memorabilia from The Three Stooges. Before settling back in Pearland, he lived in South Florida where a daily walk on the beach was his favorite way to unwind after the work day was done.
