Linda Kay Brumley January 05, 1950 - August 04, 2009 Linda Kay Brumley, The La Porte River of God Church minister’s wife, 59, of La Porte went to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday August 4, 2009. She was born January 5, 1950 in Fredericksburg, Texas. She is survived by husband Walter Brumley, children James Slusser, Tammy Shannon and Joe, Mikal Martin and Debbie, Steven Brumley and Kathy, Jason Brumley and Lacey, Casey Burmley and Stephanye, brothers Charlie Wanner and Betty, Lou Moellendorf and Ressie, Perry Wanner and Sharon, and grandchildren Kaycie Shannon, Matt Shannon, Ryan Shannon, Cordell Martin, Shawnee Martin, Landyn Brumley, Seth Brumley, and Haley Johnson. Visitation will be held Thursday August 6, 2009 at 6-8:30PM at La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday August 7, 2009 at 10AM at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Saturday August 8, 2009 in Harper Cemetery in Harper, Texas.
