Katharine Mary Coles, 94, of La Porte, Texas passed away on December 17th, 2011. She was born on December 17th, 1917 in Newark, New Jersey to William and Mary Scannell. She is preceded in death by her husband William C. Coles and survived by her children Katherine Dell and husband Charles, Bernice Driver and husband Robert, Mary Hickey and husband Daniel, brother James Scannell and wife Frances, her 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday December 21st, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home and a service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:00 AM on December 22nd, 2011. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to Katherine M. Dell, Cancer Treatment Account #011008851 Gateway Bank 1632 E, Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, Florida 34470.
