Obituary of Georgia Conklin

Georgia Conklin September 14, 1922 - November 22, 2013 Georgia Conklin, 91, of La Porte, Texas passed away on November 22nd, 2013. She was born in Plum, Texas on September 14th, 1922 to Stephen and Justina Havran. Georgia is preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. “Dego” Conklin, SR., son Calrence JR., and siblings Edwin Havran, Ann Marie Dobias, and Bernice Janik Bock. Her survivors are son Vernon Conklin, sisters Martha Gajewsky, Vlasta Brenk, granddaughter Shannon Conklin Vincent, great grandsons Devin Vincent, and Ryan Vincent. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a volunteer at La Porte Seafarers Center. Mass will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in La Porte on Wednesday November 27th, 2013 at 10:00AM with a graveside service at 2:00PM at Grand View Memorial Park.
