Obituary of Pamela Gayl McGee Rushing

Pamela died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at her home in Friendswood, Texas. A funeral service and celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Twelve O’clock - Noon at her church, St Andrew Episcopal in Pearland, TX.
Pam was born on March 10, 1957 in Gladewater, Texas to the late Peggy and Randal McGee. She graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1975 and from The University of Texas- Austin in 1980 where she was a cheerleader from 1977-1980.
Pam was a loyal employee of the Texas State Comptrollers Office for over 21 years. She began her career as secretary for then Comptroller Bob Bullock and was currently working in the Criminal Investigations Division in Houston.
“Miss” Pam was loved by all the little children in her church, at the Rise School where she volunteered, and by the elderly that she visited in nursing homes. Pam was a fun loving free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and husband Jim Teaver. Pam is survived by a loving family; her husband of 4 years, Bendel; stepsons Benny and Bryson Rushing; stepdaughter Jordan Teaver and grandson Trent Teaver of Austin, Texas; brothers Lary McGee of Keller, Texas and Gary McGee of Mesquite, Texas; along with numerous extended family.
Memorials in Pam’s name may be made to The Rise School in Houston, or The Hill Country Youth Ranch
