Obituary of Ralph Drexel JR

Ralph Drexel JR June 15, 1953 - February 27, 2013 Ralph E. Drexel, JR. went to meet the Lord on February 27, 2013 11:00AM. Ralph was born in LA in 1953 to Ralph and Mildred Drexel. Ralph graduated from La Porte High School in La Porte, TX, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after serving two tours in Vietnam. Ralph earned a PHD in Chemistry from Purdue University, Lafayette, IN. Ralph is survived by his parents, his sister Rebecca, his brother Henry, and his love Pearl Friesenhahn. Numerous nieces, grandnieces, and grandnephews survive Ralph also. Ralph was a kind and gentle person who was always willing to help others. Ralph touched many lives in his short time, and probably changed a few on the way. To paraphrase Will Rogers, “Ralph never met a person he did not like.” Ralph and Pearl were very instrumental in reviving the Bay Area Christian Singles Alliance. There will be a private service. A memorial service will be on March 23rd, 2013 11:30-4:00 at the University Baptist Church. Donation to the American Cancer Society P.O.
