I know its hard to deal with death, expecialy with someone who touched so many! But Elmer is in heaven beening taken care of by OUR FATHER, instead of him taking care of so many as a father figure.
Long story short Elmer was called home. How God called him...
In July Elmer got a second chance (along with us) by getting a pacemaker/defibulaor. He had a week heart and COPD in his lungs. He was given the chance to say goodbye's and accept what was happening. A stomach bug has been going around and unfortunally he got it. This added to the fluid already around his heart and in his lungs. He was having a harder time breathing and when treatments seemed to no longer be working, he let mom call the ambulance. After getting him stable and numbers seemed ok, he was joking (as usual) and all seemed well. Got a call at 3:30am to find out they were inabating(sp) him. (putting him on machines) Our God Almighty then took over. His body went "septic"? Bacteria was in the blood stream...
I wish i could say it was this or that...but just as Elmers arms was always open and waitting for anyone! OUR FATHER was calling Elmer into His arms...
