Walter Troy Eichenlaub, 78, of La Porte passed away Sunday October 25, 2009. He was born March 15, 1931 in Sciota County, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his son Troy Lee Eichenlaub. Walter is survived by daughter Kimberly Smith and husband Jeffrey, son Chris Eichenlaub and wife Brenda, brother George W. Eichenlaub, grandchildren Mesha Leal and husband Ryan, Kristen Wilson and husband Shane, Jennifer Laza and husband Frank, Sarai Eichenlaub, Steven Smith, Chelsea Smith, and great grandchildren Spencer Christopher Leal, Lexie Laza, and Cecilia Laza.
Visitation will be held Tuesday October 27, 2009 at 6PM-8PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday October 28, 2009 at the funeral home.
