Jesse T. Garcia September 27, 1946 - February 18, 2017 Jesse T. Garcia, 70, from La Porte, Texas died on February 18, 2017. He was born in Houston, Texas on September 27, 1946 to Able D. Garcia and Mary Tomayo. Along with his wife they were the owners of La Hadas Restaurants in La Porte and Deer Park. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic, Knights of Columbus, HLS&R, La Porte Optimists, Bayshore Chamber of Commerce and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Baytown. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Garcia; mother Mary Garcia; children Vanessa Lara and husband Eloy; Ernest “Bubba” Garcia; Jesse Garcia and Filiz Aguilar; Sister Isabelle and husband Juan; Brother Able; Brother Manuel and wife Doris; Sister Caroline and husband David; Brother Martin and wife Rosa; Sister Alice and husband Meme; Sister Anita; Sister Irene and husband David; Sister Mary Louise and husband Ralph; Sister Yvonne; Sister Minnie; Grandchildren Joey Lara and wife Taylor; Jacob Pena and wife Nichole; Joshua Lara and wife Ashley; Jared Lara; Raigan Haas and husband Cody; Jordyn Garcia; and Espen Garcia; Great grandchildren Jett Lara; Paeyton Lara and Jeremiah Lara. Visitation is Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 5pm until Rosary service at 7pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in La Porte. Funeral mass to be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in La Porte with interment immediately following at Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas.
