Carolyn Juanita Babin January 03, 1942 - January 26, 2009 Carolyn Juanita Babin, 67, of La Porte passed away Monday January 26, 2009. She was born January 3, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Lucille Cox and Cecil J. Connally. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Lucille and Cecil Connally and sister Ann C. Eldridge. She is survived by husband John G. Babin Jr., daughters Carol Hood, Christy Bensley and husband Robert, son James Folkerts and wife Darlene, sister Lynda Ketchum and husband Leon, brothers Melvin Connally and wife Linda, James Connally and wife Barbara, Charles Connally and wife Janette, granddaughter Lita S. Ziemer, and grandson Aaron G. Hood. Visitation was held Wednesday January 28, 2009 at 6-8 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services were held Thursday January 29, 2009 at 10 AM at Second Baptist Church of La Porte with interment at Houston National Cemetery.
