Obituary of Beckie Wortham

Beckie Wortham, age 43 of Pasadena, passed away on February 23, 1010. She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Sosebee. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy (Ross) Sosebee; husband, Paul Wortham; parents-in-law, Bobby & Gladys Wortham; son, Kevin Rogers; daughter, Jacquolyne Steward & her husband Wesley; brother, Dickey Sosebee; sisters, Sherri Tracy & her husband Doug, Debbie Comeaux & her husband Robert, and Terri Nichols; grandchildren, Blaine, Jordan, and Elizabeth; and a host of many other family and friends. Beckie was born on October 12, 1966 in Houston, Texas and resided here her entire life. She married Paul in 1997 and was proud to be a mother and grandmother to his children. They enjoyed attending church, watching tv or riding together on Paul’s motorcycle. Before Beckie’s illness, they would often go fishing and had even spent their honeymoon doing this. Beckie was an animal lover and especially adored cats. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. A Memorial Service for Beckie will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bob Hotten of Center Point Community Church will be officiating.
