Obituary of Sidney Antonio Gutierrez

Family Gathering Saturday, May 19, 2018 2:00 PM-5:00 PM Sidney Antonio Gutierrez October 21, 1960 - April 01, 2018 Sidney Antonio Gutierrez, age 57, passed away on April 1, 2018 when he succumbed to his long-term illness from kidney failure. He was born on October 21,1960 in Vernon, Texas to Antonio and Lillie Gutierrez. He grew up on Virginia Street, and graduated from La Porte High School in 1979. He served in the U.S. Army from June 29, 1979 through June 28, 1982. He was given an honorable discharge with a E-4 Rank. Sidney was a big fan of music, and loved to play the guitar. He was great at making people laugh, and he had the most interesting stories. He adored animals and was known to feed all the nearby strays. As we all know he enjoyed his beer and liquor and lived life to the fullest. Sidney is survived by his children, Daniel and his wife Alaina, Jason and his wife Heather, Brianna and her husband Chris, and 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. He is also survived by his brothers Antonio Samuel and wife Angelina, Andres and wife Juanita, Johnny and wife Judy, Gabriel, twin sister Sylvia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Lillie, sister Delia, brother Felipe, nephew Cisco, and niece Christina. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
