Opal Pauline Hoefar
January 20, 1924 - April 14, 2012
Opal Pauline Hoefar (Granny), 88, past from this life on April 14,
2012. She was born in Cordell, Oklahoma on January 20,1924. She moved
with her family to Pasadena, Tx in 1954, and has lived and worked in
the community since then.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Louis,
daughter, Kay, and granddaughter, Ashley.
She is survived by her son, Buddy Hoefar, daughter, Pat Schmidt,
sister, Ivy Gass, grandchildren, Debbie, Donna, Danette, Daryl and
Shawn, five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and
other family members.
She was a very devoted mother and grandmother to all and the sweetest
person you would ever meet. She will dearly be missed and her spirit
will always be forever with us. “We love our Granny”.
A viewing will be held at Paul. U. Lee Funeral Home in La Porte, Tx on
Wednesday April 18th from 1:00 to 2:00p.m. and memorial service
thereafter.
