Obituary of Jimmie E. Kaminski

Jimmie E. Kaminski March 31, 1947 - February 20, 2010 Jimmie E. Kaminski, of La Porte passed away Saturday February 20, 2010 after a long term illness. He was born March 31, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan. He worked for AJ Mundy for 18 years and Poly One Company for 14 years. He coached La Porte little league baseball from 1972 to 1991 and in 1981 to 1985 he coached little league football for the La Porte Oilers. He is preceded in death by his father Stanley Kaminski, his step-father Noe Savoy, mother Maxine Savoy, and Sister Joann Bozarth. Jimmie is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dottie, his brother Robert Kaminski and wife Gina, two sons Tommy Kaminski and wife Becky, Chad Kaminski and wife Cara, four grand-children Savannah Kaminski, Holland Kaminski, Kyle Kaminski, and Gracie Kaminski. His nephews John Kaminski and wife Penny of Corpus Christi, Darrell Kaminski, Bryan Kaminski and Terry Kaminski and wife Shelby of Spring, as well as three great-nieces Corie Kaminski, Lauren Kaminski, and Alyssa Kaminski, two great-nephews Matthew Kaminski and Nathan Kaminski, and one great-great-nephew Jayden Kaminski. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 5-8PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 10AM at the La Porte Community Church as well.
